The career I study is geography, I am in second year and I will speak from my experience as an online student, By way of contextualizing, the courses that are taught cover both the social area (anthropology, history, culture, etc.) and the physical area (hydrology, geomorphology, climatology, etc.) so that in this way our training is more complete and interdisciplinary.
2nd semester: Global Climatology, Social Geography, Introduction to GIS, Economic Geography and Geology
This semester also had quite an academic load, because in 3 branches we had to read a lot and complex texts, in economic geography for example we had to read a text answer their respective questions, do an activity corresponding to the class, see the class because it was asynchronous and advance in a semester poster. I think that the branch that cost me the most was geology, there are many concepts and complex processes to learn.
In Second course 7 branches 3rd semester and the fourth semester (current) 6 branches
3rd Semester: Local Climatology, Cultural Geography, Remote Sensing, Applied Economic Geography, Geomorphology, English III, Quantitative Research Methodology It was a quite relaxed semester in terms of academic load and I began to understand better the concepts of the career, what the professors talked about and my grades were still quite good
I am sorry and I understand your situation, I also study geography but I am already in the fourth years so my online university life began with a university rhythm and it has not been so difficult.
ResponderEliminarI think that I would never understand how difficult had been for you and for the people that entered the university in pandemic, to start with the career in online classes.
ResponderEliminarI hope more rooms will be adapted so that we can all attend classes in person, I look forward to it
ResponderEliminarIt always seems to be a complicated part of college, but it is understandable because it is an unexplored place for us at that time.
